Lamentations in Landscape

19 September – 1 October

A series of lantern lit participatory theatre performances in the landscape in and around Alice, lamenting the sorrows of war and imperialism.
We see beauty in lament. And when we come near those ancient sorrows, we know its transforming power.

Artists, performers, musicians, dancers, poets, singers and wailers are invited to join us in creating a rite and a liturgy which gathers us in both beauty, sorrow and the affirmation of peace.
